We have, in the village, a group of galliant 'rescued' chickens who have made an eggstraordinary production of some 600 eggs as we go to press, The proceeds of the sale of which- £100:00 - has been donated to the Turton Memorial Hall Building Fund by their generous owner Wendy - thank you.
